The key issue will be to explore the potentials of evidence-based policy-making in Austria’s political practice.

The Symposium will start with a general introduction to the topic. National experts were invited to give papers on the status quo, challenges and chances in selected policy areas and to discuss them with the participants. In the round table, the panellists will debate about “Efficient and inefficient policy-making: EU concepts and their implementation in Austria”.

The Symposium offers participants the unique opportunity to network and exchange opinions with scientists and practitioners on this key issue for the future of Europe.
